The trail map is not just for experts checking lines. For first-time visitors, families, and anyone meeting a group, it lowers anxiety fast.
Uphill-travel notes currently attached to the live trail-map page
Whaleback’s current public trail-map page also includes uphill guidance:
- Ski Patrol may close the mountain to uphill traffic at any time.
- If uphill travel is closed, a sign will be posted at the base of the authorized uphill route.
- Anyone using an uphill pass must complete the waiver and release agreement in advance.
- The live page points visitors to the full uphill-travel policy.
